Kaya Suarez is a director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of investment sales and equity capital raises for multifamily assets, with a focus on South Florida.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Suarez served as a manager with CBRE’s Capital Markets group, where he specialized in multifamily investment sales throughout South Florida. Before that, he was a senior financial analyst on Institutional Property Advisors’ multifamily investment team and worked in acquisition and financing analysis at a distressed real estate investment firm in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking with the Bank of Montreal and UBS’ Financial Institutions Group and later served as an originator with UBS’ Equity Capital Markets Group.

Suarez earned a bachelor’s degree in government, with a minor in economics, from Dartmouth College.
