Kirk Emmer is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, he is responsible for placing capital for income-producing properties nationwide, including apartments, industrial, retail, hospitality, and office assets. He has been directly involved in placing more than $3.2 billion in debt throughout his career.

Prior to his current role, Emmer held similar roles at the firm, where he supported the structuring and execution of commercial real estate financing transactions. Earlier in his career, he worked as an analyst at Prime Finance, a debt fund, where he performed financial analysis and prepared investment materials for potential opportunities.

Emmer earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate and finance from Marquette University. He is an active participant in the Real Estate Alumni of Marquette network and the CREDA Wisconsin chapter. He resides in Wisconsin and enjoys fitness, golfing, biking, and other outdoor activities.
