Kyle Jemtrud is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, Jemtrud is responsible for originating new loans for small balance and conventional multifamily properties nationwide. With more than 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience, he structures financing through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, bridge lenders, and capital markets executions.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Jemtrud served as a managing director at Greystone, where he originated multifamily loans nationally across Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS, and balance sheet lending platforms. Earlier in his career, he served as president of Seaside Capital Group, a private commercial mortgage brokerage, and held lending roles at 1st United Bank, Bank of St. Croix, Jefferson Bank of Florida, and Allied Capital.
Jemtrud earned a bachelor's degree in marketing at the University of Wisconsin–Stout. He serves on the foundation board of directors for Families First of Palm Beach County, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on child abuse prevention.
