Laura Woltanski is a director of Affordable Housing | Debt at Walker & Dunlop and is based in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, Woltanski works directly with clients to provide debt and equity solutions for multifamily and commercial transactions nationwide, with a focus on affordable housing development, preservation, and resyndication. Since beginning her real estate finance career at Walker & Dunlop in 2010, she has helped arrange more than $23 billion in financing transactions.

Prior to her current role, Woltanski advanced through multiple production and leadership positions at Walker & Dunlop, including vice president, assistant vice president, loan officer, production analyst, and business analyst roles supporting multifamily and affordable housing finance transactions. Earlier in her career, she held community development and economic development roles with North Rampart Main Street Inc., NorthWest Initiative, and the State of Michigan Department of Information Technology.

Woltanski earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of New Orleans. She served as chair of the Women of Walker & Dunlop employee resource group from 2020 to 2025, is a member of the leadership team for the firm’s Minds of All Kinds employee resource group and is a co-chair of the W&D Ambassadors Program. She also serves in leadership roles with the Urban Land Institute Louisiana chapter and ULI NEXT Americas and is an active volunteer with Youth Empowerment Project.
