Laurie Schoenburg is a managing director of tax credit advisory services at Zelman. In her role, she is responsible for raising capital in tax credit funds for affordable housing syndicators. She also works with institutional investors advising on their LIHTC portfolio and structuring secondary sales.
Prior to Zelman, Ms. Schoenburg was a managing director at Bank of America, where she specialized in buying and selling affordable housing tax credits. She structured guaranteed and unguaranteed transactions in the affordable space, working on both primary and secondary transactions.
Ms. Schoenburg earned her bachelor's degree in economics from Tulane University. She also holds a position on the Board of the CREA Foundation, an organization that provides financial assistance to students who are first-generation college students and reside in affordable housing developments.
