Mark Grace

Mark Grace is a senior managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Irvine, California. In this role, Grace is responsible for new loan originations and structures financing solutions through direct relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS lenders, banks, and life insurance companies. He provides financing for commercial real estate developers and property owners nationwide and brings more than 20 years of lending experience, having originated more than $12 billion in financing throughout his career. Over the past four years, he and his team have closed more than $6 billion in transactions

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Grace served as a vice president at NorthMarq Capital. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years underwriting debt and served as analyst council chairperson in 2009. In his first year as an originator, he received the Rookie of the Year designation for his production.

Grace earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and management information systems from Boston University School of Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in California. Grace and his business partner, John Montakab, were recognized with the GlobeSt. Rainmakers award in CRE Debt, Equity, and Finance in 2023. He is an active supporter of the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
