Matt Jones is a managing director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, Jones has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s multifamily property sales platform throughout the Midwest. He has more than 17 years of experience in the sale, acquisition, and advisory of multifamily assets throughout the region.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Jones served as senior vice president of multifamily investments at Colliers International, where he specialized in the disposition of multifamily assets across the Midwest. Since beginning his investment sales career in 2009, he has developed a strong track record of transactions and client relationships spanning nearly every state in the Upper Midwest.

Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Colorado. He has received numerous industry recognitions throughout his career and is an active housing policy advocate involved in local and national multifamily trade organizations.
