Matt Restivo is a senior director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in New York, New York. In this role, he is responsible for nationwide new loan originations and specializes in conventional multifamily, manufactured housing, student housing, and structured loans sourced primarily through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the firm’s proprietary bridge lending platform. Throughout his career, he has participated in the origination and underwriting of more than $8 billion in loan volume across more than 500 mortgage loans.
Prior to his current role, Restivo joined Walker & Dunlop as an analyst in the servicing department, where he managed a $3 billion portfolio before transitioning into a production analyst role within the real estate finance platform.
Restivo earned a bachelor’s degree in legal studies and political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a graduate certificate in real estate finance from Boston University. He is active in the Emerging Leaders Committee of Connecticut’s Real Estate Finance Association.
