Matthew Kuronen is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Needham, Massachusetts. In this role, Kuronen specializes in seniors housing finance and advises institutional and private owners nationwide on debt and equity financing solutions, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac agency programs, construction and bridge financing, mezzanine debt, and preferred and limited partner equity. Throughout his career, he has directly originated or led the execution of more than $8 billion in seniors housing debt and equity transactions.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Kuronen spent 18 years at CBRE, most recently serving as a senior vice president on the firm’s national seniors housing team, which he joined in 2009.
Kuronen earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University. He resides in Newton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Debbie, and their three daughters.
