Matthew Wiener

Matthew Wiener is a senior managing director of Affordable Production at Walker & Dunlop, based remotely in Wyoming. In his role, he is responsible for government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) originations for both conventional and affordable housing product lines, as well as FHA financing and bridge lending. Mr. Wiener brings more than 25 years of experience, specializing in large, complex transactions and affordable housing.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Wiener was a managing director at Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital, joining after its acquisition by Wachovia. At Wachovia, he held a similar GSE production role as a director. Before that, Mr. Wiener began his career as an analyst at American Property Financing.
Mr. Wiener earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Skidmore College.
