Max Hutson is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, Hutson is responsible for the origination and transaction management of multifamily loans through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He has experience structuring transactions for conventional multifamily housing, as well as dedicated student housing, manufactured housing, and affordable housing properties. Since joining the firm, he has been involved in more than $3 billion of multifamily transactions nationwide.

Prior to his current role, Hutson served on the underwriting team at Walker & Dunlop, where he supported the origination and closing of multifamily transactions across the country.

Hutson graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Washington and Lee University.
