Max Hutson
Associate Director, Multifamily Finance
Max Hutson is an Associate Director of Multifamily Finance at Walker & Dunlop. In his role, he is responsible for the origination and transaction management of multifamily loans through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Mr. Hutson has significant experience structuring transactions for conventional multifamily housing, as well as dedicated student housing, manufactured housing, and affordable housing.
Prior to his current role at Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Hutson served on the underwriting team where he was involved in the successful closing of over $1 billion in multifamily loans across the country. In 2020, Mr. Hutson joined the new loan origination group and has since been involved in over $950 million of new loan originations.
Mr. Hutson graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Washington and Lee University.
