Melissa Jahnke
SVP, Director of Operations
Melissa Jahnke is senior vice president and director of operations for Walker & Dunlop’s Small Balance Group, based in Milwaukee. In her role, she is responsible for managing the division’s operations and strategy, which includes the origination, underwriting, and closing of small balance multifamily loans. Ms. Jahnke also serves on Walker & Dunlop’s Revenue and Compliance Committees.
Before her current role, Ms. Jahnke was a senior analyst on Walker & Dunlop’s Capital Markets team, where she focused on the underwriting, structuring, and placement of financing for income-producing properties, including multifamily, industrial, retail, hotel, and office. Prior to transitioning into a production role, she served as a portfolio analyst with Walker & Dunlop’s asset management team.
Ms. Jahnke earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a real estate certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
