Melissa Jahnke is a senior vice president of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, Jahnke serves as director of operations for small balance loans and is responsible for managing the division’s strategy and operations, including the origination, underwriting, and closing of small balance multifamily loans. She also serves on Walker & Dunlop’s revenue and compliance committees.

Prior to her current role, Jahnke served as a senior analyst on Walker & Dunlop’s capital markets team, where she focused on underwriting, structuring, and placing financing for income-producing properties including multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, and office assets. Earlier in her career, she worked as a portfolio analyst on the firm’s asset management team.

Jahnke earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a real estate certificate from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
