Mendel Lazaros is an associate director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. In this role, Lazaros provides customized financing solutions to owners and operators of commercial real estate properties nationwide. Throughout his career, he has advised clients on acquisitions and refinancings, securing capital through fixed permanent debt, floating bridge loans, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit syndications.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Lazaros worked at Deerwood Real Estate Capital, which was later acquired by Walker & Dunlop, where he specialized in originating commercial mortgages for apartment buildings and shopping centers.

Lazaros earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Yeshiva University and a master’s degree in technology management from Columbia University.
