Michael Cregan is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Houston, Texas. In this role, Cregan specializes in seniors housing finance and advises institutional and private clients nationwide on debt and equity financing solutions. Throughout his career, he has participated in the closing of more than $3.9 billion in transactions and has directly led the execution of more than $1.4 billion in agency lending, ground-up development financing, and traditional mortgage banking loan placements.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Cregan served as a senior vice president on CBRE’s national seniors housing debt and structured finance team, where he led the execution of debt and equity assignments across the seniors housing and active adult sectors.

Cregan earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Sewanee: The University of the South. He resides in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Izzy, and their daughter, Isla.
