Michael Williams is an associate director of Capital Markets at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Dallas. In this role, he focuses on raising joint venture, programmatic and platform-level equity for development and acquisition opportunities, as well as structuring preferred equity and mezzanine debt across multiple asset classes, including build-for-rent, single-family rental, multifamily, industrial, senior housing and self-storage.
Prior to his current role, Williams served as a senior analyst at Walker & Dunlop, where he specialized in equity placement and structured finance. Before that, he interned with NorthMarq and co-founded Triple M Housing, an all-inclusive transition home dedicated to helping high-risk individuals regain stability and secure long-term employment and housing.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Stanford University, where he was a member of the football team, and an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University with dual concentrations in real estate and strategy and entrepreneurship, where he continued his athletic career.
