Michael Williams is an associate director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, Williams focuses on raising joint venture, programmatic, and platform-level equity for development and acquisition opportunities and structures preferred equity and mezzanine debt across asset classes including build-to-rent, single-family rental, multifamily, industrial, senior housing, and self-storage.
Prior to his current role, Williams served as a senior analyst at Walker & Dunlop, where he specialized in equity placement and structured finance. Earlier in his career, he interned with NorthMarq and co-founded Triple M Housing, an organization focused on helping high-risk individuals regain stability and secure long-term employment and housing.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Stanford University, where he was a member of the football team, and a Master of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University with concentrations in real estate and strategy and entrepreneurship.
