Mike Bryant

Mike Bryant is a senior managing director of multifamily finance at Walker & Dunlop, based in Dallas. In his role, he is responsible for new loan origination with a focus on lending with the GSEs. Over his 40-year career, Mr. Bryant has originated more than $10 billion in commercial real estate loans. His expertise spans equity and debt financing across multifamily, office, retail, industrial and hospitality sectors. He also has deep experience in loan modification and debt restructuring, with comprehensive knowledge of diverse lending sources, including life companies, CMBS, GSEs and alternative funding options.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Bryant was vice chairman and managing director of the Dallas debt and structured finance department at CBRE, where he was a perennial leader in loan production, consistently ranking in the top 3% to 10% of all loan producers nationally. Before CBRE, he was co-manager of the Texas production team at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, the successor to Capmark. Additionally, he is a former member of Freddie Mac’s Independent Advisory Council and previously served on CBRE’s Advisory Council.

Mr. Bryant earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the SMU Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Outside of the company, he has served on the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital Tartan Board for 37 years and supports the Dallas Salesmanship Club, which benefits at-risk children.
