Oscar Sanchez
Director, Capital Markets
Oscar Sanchez is a director of capital markets at Walker & Dunlop, based in the Englewood Cliffs, NJ, office. In his role, he provides customized financing solutions to owners and operators of commercial real estate properties across the United States. Mr. Sanchez has worked on more than $1 billion in commercial mortgage closings over the last eight years.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Sanchez served as a vice president on IDB Bank's CRE team, where he originated, underwrote, and closed term, bridge, and construction loans. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sanchez was an associate on Amherst Capital Management's CRE originations team. He began his real estate career as a CMBS and bridge loan underwriter in Arbor Realty Trust's New York office.
Mr. Sanchez earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Baruch College in New York. Beyond the company, he plays guitar, trains for local Olympic weightlifting meets, and is a husband and a father to a twin boy and girl.
