Pat Modig
Managing Director
Based in Chicago, Illinois, Patrik (“Pat”) Modig is a Managing Director on the Capital Markets team, where he is responsible for structuring debt and equity for real estate owners and developers. Mr. Modig has experience sourcing and structuring financing for all property types including office, multifamily, retail, industrial, hospitality, and condominium projects.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Modig served as a Vice President in the Midwest Capital Markets Group at JLL, where he completed transactions totaling more than $4 billion across 16 states throughout the country. Before joining JLL, Mr. Modig worked with Allstate Investments in the real estate investment group, where he was responsible for the underwriting and execution of a commercial mortgage portfolio comprised of various assets located throughout the country. Mr. Modig also previously worked as a part of Allstate’s CMBS desk, where he was a trading floor analyst for the firm's CMBS and REIT debt portfolio.
Mr. Modig holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, where he double majored in commercial real estate and finance.
