Pat Modig is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, Modig is responsible for structuring debt and equity financing solutions for real estate owners and developers nationwide across property types including office, multifamily, retail, industrial, hospitality, and condominium assets.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Modig served as a vice president in the Midwest capital markets group at JLL, where he completed transactions totaling more than $4 billion across 16 states. Earlier in his career, he worked in the real estate investment group at Allstate Investments, where he underwrote and executed a commercial mortgage portfolio across multiple asset classes nationwide. He also served on Allstate’s CMBS desk as a trading floor analyst covering the firm’s CMBS and REIT debt portfolio.
Modig earned a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, where he double majored in commercial real estate and finance.
