Skye Stansbury is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, she is responsible for financing income-producing multifamily properties throughout the United States. In addition to conventional multifamily assets, she focuses on affordable, manufactured, and student housing across single-asset executions, and large structured and portfolio transactions. Since joining the firm in 2017, she has been directly involved in arranging more than $10 billion in financing for more than 400 properties.

Prior to her current role, Stansbury held positions in asset management at Walker & Dunlop, where she was responsible for financial analysis, site inspections, and post-closing asset management for the firm’s servicing portfolio.

Stansbury earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and Chinese language and literature from the University of Virginia. She has served as a supervisor for the Don Bosco Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study Program and was named Maryland Regional Supervisor of the Year in 2023. She has also served as a recurring mentor with Project Destined and is a member of the leadership team for Walker & Dunlop’s Women of Walker & Dunlop employee resource group. Stansbury is a member of the DC Real Estate Group, the Urban Land Institute, and the Mortgage Bankers Association. She resides in Kensington, Maryland with her husband and son.
