Skye Stansbury
Associate Director
Skye Stansbury is an associate director of Multifamily Finance at Walker & Dunlop, based in Bethesda, Maryland. In her role, she is responsible for financing income-producing multifamily properties throughout the U.S. In addition to conventional multifamily, she focuses on affordable, manufactured, and student housing across both one-off executions and large structured and portfolio transactions. Since joining the company in 2017, Mrs. Stansbury has been directly involved in arranging more than $10 billion in financing for more than 400 properties.
Prior to her current role, Mrs. Stansbury held roles in Asset Management at Walker & Dunlop, where she handled financial analysis, site inspections, and post-closing needs for Walker & Dunlop’s servicing portfolio.
Mrs. Stansbury earned her bachelor’s degrees in economics and Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Virginia. Beyond the company, Mrs. Stansbury is a supervisor for the Don Bosco Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study Program, where she earned the Maryland Regional Supervisor of the Year award in 2023, and has served as a Project Destined recurring mentor. She is on the leadership team for W&D’s Women of Walker & Dunlop (WoWD) ERG and is also a member of several industry associations, including the DC Real Estate Group, Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). Mrs. Stansbury and her husband reside in Kensington, Maryland.
