Skye Stansbury is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, she is responsible for financing income-producing multifamily properties throughout the United States. In addition to conventional multifamily assets, she focuses on affordable, manufactured, and student housing across single-asset executions, and large structured and portfolio transactions. Since joining the firm in 2017, she has been directly involved in arranging more than $10 billion in financing for more than 400 properties.

Prior to her current role, Stansbury held positions in asset management at Walker & Dunlop, where she was responsible for financial analysis, site inspections, and post-closing asset management for the firm’s servicing portfolio.

Stansbury earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and Chinese language and literature from the University of Virginia. She has served as a supervisor for the Don Bosco Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study Program and was named Maryland Regional Supervisor of the Year in 2023. She has also served as a recurring mentor with Project Destined and is a member of the leadership team for Walker & Dunlop’s Women of Walker & Dunlop employee resource group. Stansbury is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Mortgage Bankers Association and serves on the board for DC Real Estate Group. She resides in Kensington, Maryland with her husband and son.
