Steven Natale is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Irvine, California. In this role, Natale is responsible for originating market-rate and affordable multifamily loans throughout the United States. Since 2017, he has been directly involved in the origination of more than 135 loans through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac totaling more than $2.5 billion.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Natale served as a portfolio manager at CWCapital, where he was responsible for a $1.5 billion loan pool of multifamily and commercial properties nationwide. Before that, he was a financial analyst in the asset management department at CWCapital , where he was involved in the acquisition of mortgage servicing rights on a $2.6 billion portfolio of performing multifamily loans.

Natale earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and accounting and a master’s degree in finance from Bentley University. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council. In 2018, he was recognized as one of HousingWire’s Rising Stars in the Mortgage Industry.
