Travis D’Amato is a managing director of Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop, based in Boston, Massachusetts. In his role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of investment sales and equity capital raise assignments for multifamily assets in the Greater Boston area. He also sits on the Institutional Strategies Group at Walker & Dunlop, focused on large scale portfolio opportunities nationally. He has been with Walker & Dunlop since 2018 and has over 30 years of multifamily real estate experience.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. D’Amato served as a managing director focused on multifamily investment sales with JLL, CBRE and Apartment Realty Advisors for 13 years with his career starting in property management at Winn Companies in 2003.  In his career, he has participated in over 110 sales, land, and equity transactions throughout the New England Region with an aggregate value in excess of $11 Billion.

Mr. D’Amato earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. Beyond the company, Mr. D’Amato is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.  He currently sits on the management committee, Boston Market Council, and the National Multifamily Council platinum flight for the Urban Land Institute (ULI).  He is a past-President of the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA).  He is a member of NAIOP, NMHC and sits on the board of the Commercial Broker’s Association (CBA).  He also serves as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for Heading Home, a charity to end homelessness in the Greater Boston area.
