about Alexandra Huffman

Alexandra Huffman, Managing Director, is based in Richmond, Virginia and is responsible for multifamily loan originations through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the company’s bridge lending program. Mrs. Huffman has significant experience with specialized asset classes including manufactured, student, and affordable housing, in addition to conventional multifamily.

Mrs. Huffman joined Walker & Dunlop in 2011 as a member of the company’s multifamily underwriting department. In this role, she was responsible for the underwriting of over $1 billion in transactions on over 14,000 multifamily units nationwide. Mrs. Huffman was promoted to her current position in 2015 and has since been directly involved in the financing of over $6 billion in multifamily mortgages nationwide.

Beyond the company, Mrs. Huffman is a board member of the National Building Museum, junior board member of World Pediatric Project and is affiliated with several other charitable and industry organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the College of Charleston, where she graduated cum laude. Mrs. Huffman also earned a Master of Professional Studies in real estate with a concentration in finance from Georgetown University, graduating magna cum laude.
