Andrew Westling is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, Westling is responsible for new loan originations and closings for multifamily and commercial properties nationwide. Throughout his career, he has underwritten and closed more than $2.2 billion in debt and equity financing across multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hotel, manufactured housing, and self-storage properties.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop in 2016, Westling served as a director at George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company, where he originated, underwrote, and closed commercial real estate loan transactions. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president in the private bank at Union Bank, where he structured customized credit solutions including commercial real estate financing, asset-based lending, and cash flow-secured credit facilities.
Westling earned a bachelor's degree in business with dual concentrations in finance and accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
