Chris Goldsmith is a managing director of Capital Markets | Multifamily Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of investment sales and equity capital raises for multifamily assets, with a focus on markets throughout the Southeast.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Goldsmith served at Engler Financial Group, which was later acquired by Walker & Dunlop. Before that, he worked on the acquisitions and asset management teams at Stockbridge Capital Group in Atlanta, where he assisted with the placement of more than $300 million in core and value-add equity and supported the management of the firm’s core fund and separate accounts. Earlier in his career, he worked at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company in the national accounts originations group, where he was part of a top-producing team that originated more than $1.5 billion on behalf of Prudential’s general account, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.

Goldsmith earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in finance and entrepreneurship from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
