Connor Locke is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, Locke is responsible for new loan origination and specializes in multifamily executions through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, life companies, bridge, and bank lending platforms. He focuses on conventional multifamily, student, affordable, and manufactured housing and brings nearly 17 years of multifamily finance experience spanning single-asset financings, as well as large structured and portfolio transactions. Throughout his career, he has been directly involved in more than $20 billion in multifamily mortgages nationwide.
Prior to his current role, Locke was a member of the firm’s multifamily finance underwriting department. He was later promoted into production, where he continued to expand his national origination platform. In 2017, he was named to Commercial Observer’s “Top 25 Under 35” list, recognizing leading debt originators and brokers under the age of 35.
Locke earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where he served as captain of the lacrosse team and was named an All-American.
