Dean Huber is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, Huber originates loans nationwide and structures financing solutions including permanent, construction, and bridge placements. Over his 25-year career, he has closed more than $2 billion in agency, life insurance company, bank, CMBS, and HUD loans and focuses primarily on placing permanent financing for income-producing properties such as multifamily, office, industrial, and retail assets.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Huber served as an assistant vice president at M&I Bank (now BMO). Earlier in his career, he underwrote bridge loans at JPMorgan Investment Management and insurance company balance sheet loans at ING Real Estate Finance.
Huber earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and real estate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a master’s degree in real estate from New York University. He is a member of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks, the Mortgage Bankers Association, and the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association. Huber resides in Wisconsin with his wife and their two children.
