Gideon Orion is a managing director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, he is responsible for originating and executing seniors housing property sales opportunities nationwide. He has more than 20 years of real estate experience and has closed more than $4 billion in transactions, including seniors housing and skilled nursing transactions totaling more than $3 billion.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Orion served as managing director and managing broker of California for Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors, where he focused exclusively on seniors housing and healthcare real estate. Before that, he was a director at Cushman & Wakefield.

Orion earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from California State University, Northridge. He serves on the board of directors for Los Angeles Jewish Health, LA’s largest single source provider of senior healthcare.
