about Gideon Orion

Gideon Orion is a Managing Director based in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Orion is responsible for originating and executing seniors housing property sales opportunities across the United States. He brings a strong track record and highly specialized expertise to the firm’s dedicated seniors housing group and joined Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales as the platform’s first dedicated seniors housing expert in the Southern California region.

Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Orion served as Managing Director and Managing Broker of California for Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors, an advisory firm exclusively focused on seniors housing and healthcare real estate. Previously, he served as Director for Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Orion has built a large client base over his 14-year real estate career and has closed over $3 billion in transactions, including over 130 seniors housing and skilled nursing transactions valued at more than $2.3 billion.

Mr. Orion earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from California State University, Northridge, and is a former California Champion Speaker for Toastmasters International. Additionally, he is a Member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Jewish Home’s Grancell Village & Eisenberg Village, two seniors housing continuing care communities consisting of skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and hospice care.
