Jennifer Erixon is a senior managing director of Affordable Housing | Equity at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Denver, Colorado. In this role, Erixon leads originations for the firm’s affordable housing equity platform and is responsible for structuring, negotiating, and closing low-income housing tax credit investments nationwide. She has 30 years of affordable housing finance and development experience and has closed more than $3.5 billion in lower-tier low-income housing tax credit investments throughout her career.

Prior to her current role, Erixon served at Alliant Capital, which was acquired by Walker & Dunlop in 2021, where she led affordable housing equity originations. Before that, she served as senior vice president and market manager in the community lending division of a national bank, where she managed originations, closings, and portfolio management across a multistate territory. Earlier in her career, she served as president of Mercy Housing’s 6-state Mountain Plains region and established a national asset management platform for the organization’s $2 billion portfolio. She has also led underwriting, investor sales, and originations for two national low-income housing tax credit syndicators.

Erixon earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado Denver.
