Jonathan (J) Kushner is an associate director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, Kushner is responsible for originating commercial financing opportunities for clients nationwide.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Kushner served as a commercial financing consultant at Deerwood Real Estate Capital, where he evaluated new transactions to determine financial viability and risk, structured competitive debt and equity solutions, and prepared marketing materials for financial institutions. Earlier in his career, he served as a business development associate at Devington Technologies, where he developed the company’s online presence and generated 12 new client leads. He also served as an accounting intern at Extended Care Clinical, where he prepared payroll allocations, journal entries, and financial statements for nursing facilities.

Kushner earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University.
