Russ Oldham is a managing director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of multifamily property sales, land transactions, and equity capital raises, with a concentration in the Southeast region. He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, and financing within the multifamily sector.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Oldham served as an executive vice president in CBRE’s Capital Markets Institutional Group, where he specialized in the exclusive listing and sale of institutional and private multifamily properties and land. During his tenure, he assisted in the marketing and disposition of more than $8 billion in multifamily assets and was consistently recognized as a top 10 percent producer. Before that, he served as a development manager and later chief financial officer of Hathaway Properties and Hathaway Construction in Atlanta. Earlier in his career, he began his career as a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen.

Oldham earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business. He has been recognized as a Power Leader in Commercial Real Estate by the Nashville Business Journal and was named to the publication’s 40 Under 40 list. Along with his partner Brett Kingman, he has received multiple NAIOP Brokerage Team of the Year and Multifamily Sale of the Year awards.
