Telly Fathaly is a managing director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of investment sales and equity capital raises for multifamily assets in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. Since 2013, he has been involved in more than $4 billion of multifamily sales, capitalizations, acquisitions, and development transactions. He has more than 20 years of industry experience.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Fathaly served as a senior director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt, and Structured Finance practice, where he delivered multifamily finance solutions across the Southeastern United States. Before that, he was a principal at FT Realty Capital in Atlanta, providing equity formation services for commercial real estate operators and developers throughout the Southeast and Texas. Earlier in his career, he served as a vice president at Sterling Real Estate Capital and held acquisitions roles with International Capital Partners and Montecito Investments.

Fathaly earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia.
