Aaron Knight is a senior managing director of Capital Markets and co-head of EMEA at Walker & Dunlop and is based in London. In this role, Knight is responsible for sourcing debt and equity capital on behalf of institutional clients across Western Europe and multiple asset classes, including build-to-rent, purpose-built student accommodation, logistics, office, retail, and alternative sectors such as life sciences, self-storage, and data centers. He has more than 20 years of experience originating, structuring, and advising on commercial real estate debt products, including floating- and fixed-rate structures, CMBS financings, and senior and subordinated debt tranches.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Knight served as a director of debt and structured finance at JLL as part of the firm’s international capital markets team. Before that, he was an executive director at PGIM Real Estate, where he was responsible for European debt origination.
Knight earned bachelor’s degrees in commerce and economics from the Australian National University and a postgraduate degree in applied finance and investments from the Securities Institute of Australasia. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
