Alison Williams

Executive Vice President & Group Head, Alison Williams, brings over 20 years of commercial real estate experience to Walker & Dunlop. After seven years as a successful broker at the company, Ms. Williams stepped into a leadership role, using her extensive knowledge of multifamily production and underwriting to lead operations and originations for the company’s national multifamily platform focusing on loans of $15 million and under.

Before transitioning to her current role, Ms. Williams was a Senior Director in Walker & Dunlop’s Capital Markets group, where she specialized in the origination of debt and structured finance for commercial real estate transactions encompassing all property types. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Ms. Williams, served as Vice President in NorthMarq Capital’s Tampa, Florida office for more than 11 years where she was responsible for new loan origination. Throughout her career, Ms. Williams has originated debt and equity for commercial real estate transactions valued in excess of $4 billion.

Ms. Williams graduated from Florida State University where she double majored in finance and real estate. Ms. Williams serves on numerous committees within Walker & Dunlop including the Company’s Executive, Revenue, Strategy & Investment Committees. She is an active contributor helping shape the Company’s DE&I strategy including creating the company’s first lending team led entirely by women. She also participates in numerous professional organizations focusing on multifamily and real estate trends and has been recognized as a 2021 Woman of Influence and a Multifamily Influencer by GlobeSt, CRE’s Best Bosses by GlobeSt, and she is a member of the FSU Real Estate Executive Board.
