Christopher de Raet is an associate director of Capital Markets Institutional Advisory at Walker & Dunlop and is based in New York City. In this role, he focuses on underwriting, sourcing and structuring complex debt and equity financing solutions across major commercial real estate asset classes nationwide. He works closely with institutional owners, operators and capital partners to deliver capital solutions tailored to each client’s strategic objectives. Since joining Walker & Dunlop, he has played an integral role in executing more than $11 billion in closed transaction volume.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, de Raet served as a senior financial analyst at Clark Construction Group, one of the largest commercial construction firms in the United States. There, he was responsible for corporate-level financial reporting, forecasting and profit and loss analysis within the company’s enterprise risk management business unit.

de Raet earned a bachelor’s degree in economics, with a minor in general business, from the University of Maryland, College Park.
