Cory Elbaum is a managing director of Capital Markets Equity & Structured Finance at Walker & Dunlop, based in New York. In this role, he leads the sourcing and structuring of equity and structured finance placements across commercial real estate asset classes nationwide.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Elbaum was a managing director at TPG Angelo Gordon, where he led principal equity investment activity across the Tri-State region. Before that, he served as a managing director at Dune Real Estate Partners, focused on distressed and value-add investment strategies throughout North America. Earlier in his career, Elbaum led acquisitions at Thor Equities, a U.S.-based real estate operator and developer, overseeing sourcing, underwriting and execution across multiple asset classes.

Elbaum earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
