Doug McDaniel
Senior Director
Doug McDaniel is a senior director of multifamily finance at Walker & Dunlop, based in Birmingham, Alabama. In his role, he is responsible for new loan originations for multifamily properties across the country with a focus on manufactured housing and student housing properties. Mr. McDaniel joined Walker & Dunlop’s multifamily finance department in 2016 and has since been directly involved in the origination and closing of more than $8 billion in agency financing.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. McDaniel worked as an agency underwriter at Greystone, where he was the lead underwriter for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily debt products. While at Greystone, he also held various other roles within the underwriting and production teams.
Mr. McDaniel earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi, where he was also a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. Doug currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama along with his wife Mary Grace, their daughter Max, and two sons, Louis and John.
