Matt Mentesana is an associate director of FHA Finance at Walker & Dunlop, based in Dallas, Texas. In his role, he is responsible for originating multifamily loans with a focus on the lending programs of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  

Prior to Walker & Dunlop, he worked at Berkadia as a financial analyst in HUD origination.  Mr. Mentesana founded his own company, Mentesana Resources, LLC, a commercial and residential electricity brokerage, where he served as president. Before that, he was an associate broker at Grand Energy, where he capitalized Oil & Gas Exploration.

Mr. Mentesana earned his bachelor’s degree in applied psychology and sport management from Southern Methodist University.
