Matt Mentesana is an associate director of FHA Finance | Production at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, Mentesana is responsible for originating multifamily loans with a focus on HUD lending programs.

Prior to his current role, Mentesana served as a senior real estate analyst at Walker & Dunlop, where he supported HUD multifamily originations and underwriting efforts. Before that, he served as a financial analyst at Berkadia focused on HUD originations. Earlier in his career, he founded Mentesana Resources, LLC, a commercial and residential electricity brokerage, and worked as an associate broker at Grand Energy Inc.

Mentesana earned a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology and sport management from Southern Methodist University.
