Michael Stepniewski is a senior director of Capital Markets Institutional Advisory at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Miami, Florida. In his role, he oversees the South Florida region for the firm and leads efforts to deliver comprehensive debt & equity financing solutions across all commercial real estate asset classes. Stepniewski brings more than a decade of capital markets experience on the principal side of the commercial real estate industry, specializing in complex large-scale financings, equity raises & joint ventures.

Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Stepniewski led debt capital markets efforts at Tishman Speyer in New York, where he procured financing for the firm’s acquisitions and ground-up developments across the U.S. Prior to that, he worked on the capital markets desk at LoanCore Capital, where he originated, syndicated, and securitized nearly $10 billion of commercial real estate debt.

Stepniewski earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
