Scott Watson is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Irvine, California. In this role, Watson provides financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners nationwide, structuring debt, mezzanine, and equity capital across multiple property types.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Watson served as a vice president at Johnson Capital, which was acquired by Walker & Dunlop, where he structured debt, mezzanine, and equity transactions for commercial real estate clients. Before that, he served as finance director for Mission Pacific Land Company, where he managed public finance proposals, conducted acquisition due diligence, and assisted in negotiations related to the sale of residential and commercial land.

Watson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in business administration, and a master’s degree in real estate development from the University of Southern California.
