Stephen West, Managing Director based in Seattle, WA, is responsible for originating and structuring debt and equity investments across the United States.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. West worked within Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking and Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities group in New York. While at Merrill, he worked with a team of originators, underwriters, and closers responsible for the origination and securitization of nearly $2 billion of commercial mortgage-backed bonds on multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, and self-storage properties. Since joining Walker & Dunlop in 2012, Mr. West has originated in excess of $9 billion of multifamily debt for institutional clients.

Mr. West received a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Auburn University.
