Chris Goldsmith, Managing Director, joined the Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales team, in April 2015 as part of the Engler Financial Group acquisition. Mr. Goldsmith is responsible for the origination and execution of investment sales and equity capital raised for multifamily assets, with a focus on markets in the Southeast.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales, Mr. Goldsmith served on the acquisitions and asset management teams for Stockbridge Capital Group in Atlanta. During his tenure with Stockbridge, Mr. Goldsmith assisted with the placement of over $300 million in core/value-add equity and assisted with the management of Stockbridge’s Core Fund and several separate accounts. Prior to Stockbridge, Mr. Goldsmith spent three years at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company in the national accounts originations group. While at Prudential, Mr. Goldsmith worked on Prudential’s top producing team which originated more than $1.5 billion on behalf of Prudential’s General Account, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.

Mr. Goldsmith holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.
