Ethan Waite is a senior director of Affordable Housing | Debt at Walker & Dunlop and is based in New York, New York. In this role, he is responsible for providing debt and equity financing solutions for affordable multifamily housing nationwide. Since 2018, he has helped originate, structure, underwrite, and close more than 200 multifamily transactions totaling more than $1.5 billion through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing platforms.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Waite served as a vice president at CBRE, where he focused on originating affordable multifamily housing loans through Agency financing programs. Before that, he held multiple production and underwriting roles at Freddie Mac, where he gained experience in affordable housing finance, underwriting, and loan origination.

Waite earned a bachelor’s degree in economics, with a minor in business, from the University of Connecticut. He is an active mentor with Project Destined.
