Carter Gradwell is a senior director of Capital Markets | Hospitality Advisory at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Virginia. In this role, he focuses on upper-upscale and luxury hospitality transactions nationwide. Throughout his career, he has represented institutional and private clients in transactions totaling more than $1.2 billion in sales, achieving multiple price-per-key records across the Sun Belt.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Gradwell gained more than 12 years of capital markets experience in roles at CBRE and Allianz, where he specialized in the hospitality, travel, and entertainment sectors.

Gradwell earned bachelor’s degrees in finance, international business, and hospitality and tourism management from Virginia Tech, graduating with distinction. He has also  been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker.
