Charlie Krisfalusi is a senior director of Affordable Housing | Debt at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Birmingham, Michigan. In this role, Krisfalusi is responsible for originating multifamily loans, with a focus on the Midwest region. His expertise includes acquisition, bridge, affordable housing, tax credit and abatement, small-balance, and construction financing. He has more than 14 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with expertise in lending through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, and has facilitated the permanent placement of more than $1 billion in multifamily loans nationwide.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Krisfalusi served as a director at Pillar Financial, a division of SunTrust Bank, where he originated permanent multifamily loans through government Agency lending programs.

Krisfalusi earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. Outside of Walker & Dunlop, he is active in the commercial real estate finance industry and holds board positions with the Michigan Housing Council and the Apartment Association of Michigan.
