Chris Rumul is a senior managing director of FHA Finance at Walker & Dunlop, based in Needham, Massachusetts. In his role, he is responsible for originating new FHA business for Walker & Dunlop through new and existing borrower relationships. Throughout his career, Mr. Rumul has originated and closed more than $4.5 billion in transactions with HUD, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Rumul served as vice president in the FHA lending program at CW Capital LLC. During his time at CW Capital, he held several positions, including analyst and underwriter trainee in the FHA underwriting division, and began his career there as a loan administrator, managing a $1 billion portfolio. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rumul worked as a leasing representative and project manager for The Flatley Company, where he independently negotiated triple-net and modified-gross leases with brokers and proprietors.

Mr. Rumul earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bryant University and is an FHA MAP-approved underwriter.
