Chad Blessed is a director of Affordable Housing | Debt at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, Blessed specializes in originating, structuring, underwriting, and closing multifamily and healthcare commercial real estate transactions. He brings more than 15 years of experience in affordable housing finance, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions and subsidized assets, and utilizes financing solutions through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Blessed served as a paralegal at Krooth & Altman, where he represented commercial mortgage lenders in complex real estate finance transactions.

Blessed earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Radford University. He holds the Multifamily Accelerated Processing designation and the LEAN designation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
