Sean Reimer serves as a Managing Director for Walker & Dunlop’s New York Capital Markets practice, bringing 13 years of principal side investment experience in both debt and equity transactions. In his role, he focuses on sourcing and structuring debt and equity solutions for all commercial real estate asset classes across the country.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Reimer served as a Principal at Square Mile Capital Management where he led the firm’s highest-producing origination team. During his tenure at Square Mile, Mr. Reimer was responsible for the origination of more than $8 billion of debt and equity transactions, resulting in over $2 billion of retained principal investments by the firm. Mr. Reimer gained valuable experience with transaction types such as value-add bridge loans, construction loans, stabilized loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and JV equity across all asset classes and major markets in the U.S.

In his previous roles, Mr. Reimer was a Director at Cantor Fitzgerald in the company’s CMBS lending group, Partner of RL Realty Partners, and Senior Financial Analyst at CBRE.

Mr. Reimer earned his Bachelor of Science in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan with magna cum laude distinction.
