about Ben Retter

Ben Retter, Director, joined Walker & Dunlop in January 2017 as part of the Deerwood Real Estate Capital (Deerwood) acquisition. Mr. Retter is responsible for providing financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the United States. Throughout his career, Mr. Retter has sourced hundreds of millions of dollars in debt and equity, for dozens of transactions spanning the length and the breadth of the country with a focus on the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania markets.

Prior to joining Deerwood, Mr. Retter served as an assistant to the president at Sapphire Ventures, LLC, a real estate development firm, where he formulated mortgage loan packages and calculated construction budgets and forecasts.
